2019 NFL Draft Prospect Rankings
(LIST UPDATED March 5th 2019)
All of these comparisons are the players' ceiling. I obviously don't think the entire first round will develop into pro-bowlers.
1. Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma
Now that Kyler is 100% committed to football he will only move up draft boards. Kyler has shown to be one of the most electrifying QBs in college football history. He has shown the ability to make all of the throws, while being wildly undersized at 5'10" I think that Murray has all the tools to be a great NFL QB.
Comparison- Russell Wilson

3. Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio State
Bosa is clearly one of the most dominant players in this class, insane motor, great pass rushing intangibles, and able to stop the run. Only concern is the "freakish" core injury that cut his season short. But I don't expect that to effect his NFL career.

5. Ed Oliver, DT, Houston
Oliver is insanely athletic for his monstrous 6'3" 300 pound frame. Unlike Bosa, Oliver's strength is stopping the run, but he still has the athleticism to get to the quarterback. Oliver struggled with character concerns near the end of the season, but that does not worry me.
Comparison- Aaron Donald

42. Josh Jacobs, RB, Alabama
Jacobs is just a consistent "all around" running back. He's not gonna be very flashy or but up monster numbers but, he will get you yards in the NFL. An insane 41.0% of Jacobs’ carries resulted in either a first down or a touchdown in 2018, which should show you why he is the consensus number one running back in the entire draft.

44. Jalen Hurd, WR, Baylor
Hurd is one of my favorite prospects in this entire draft. He was originally a running back at Tennessee and was getting playing time over Alvin Kamara, until he realized he did not want to take the beating that a running back does. Tennessee did not allow Hurd to make this move in Knoxville so he decided to transfer to Baylor. He was productive in his only season at receiver, and I think he can surprise people in the NFL.
Comparison- Cordarrelle Patterson

45. Zach Allen, DE, Boston College
Allen is a classic "hard-nosed" defensive end. He's never gonna wow you or put up monster numbers. But I think that his strong run defense to go along with his average pass rushing skills can make him a perfect compliment to an all-pro defensive end.
Comparison- Stephon Tuitt

46. David Long, CB, Michigan
David Long kinda went under the radar last season at Michigan. Long allowed all of 18 catches on 595 coverage snaps in his entire college career at Michigan. I think those stats are enough for other teams to take a second look at Long.

49. Bryce Love, RB, Stanford
Many people can be turned away from Love's torn ACL, and lack of production last season at Stanford. But I think Love has an incredibly high character mainly based off his self written article here. Overall I think last season was a fluke for love and he has teh potential to be a starting all-around back in the NFL.
Comparison- Chris Johnson

Comparison- Chris Johnson
50. Tyree Jackson, QB, Buffalo
I may not think that Tyree Jackson is the 50th best player in this draft, but he will succeed in the NFL. Jackson stands at a whopping 6’7” 249 pounds. At the NFL combine Jackson showed that his monstrous size will not hold back from his athleticism. At the combine Jackson ran a 4.59 forty yard dash which would rank him second out of quarterbacks and at a position that his size would project him at, tight end…
The main reason that I am all is on Jackson is, that he recently and came out and said prior to his preparation for the NFL draft he has never had a private throwing/quarterback coach. Which is unbelievably rare. From what I know about 98% of division 1 quarterbacks have a throwing coach sometimes starting as early as 5th grade. And Jackson taught himself from watching Tom Brady YouTube videos...
